These were given out free by Megger to colleges in the form of big posters for the walls and files on a CD so the colleges could use them for presentations and handouts.

You can also see them and copy them from Megger facebook page

well spotted i did not even know megger was on facebook .. the collage i'm at do give alot of handout out and test sheets .. but thay will not pay for a new set of T&I dvd's as the ones thay had have gone walkies .. lol

excellent detail, question - as ones years are passing rapidly, could someone please remind me how one determines (on the schedule of test results form) the overcurrent device - short circuit capacity .....kA ??

its written on the side of the breaker!!!! either 6 or 10ka

or for supply fuse a bs 88 type 2 is normally 60/80a
bs 1361 type 2 60/33. some do vary tho

Nice to see clear pictures but you would have thought a firm as big as megger would get them correct
continuity of main protective bonding conductors MUST have one end disconnected,
and steps for testing ring final continuity. see GN3 there are 3 steps these are not the same as these pictures and will get low marks if given in the 2391 written exam. the first step is the only time you measure at the board. step 2 is measured between L and N at every socket not at the board. step 3 is measured between L and cpc at every socket there is no step 3a and 3b. the R1+Rn and R1+r2 at the board is by calculation only. pictures like this cause confusion to stuedents who have not yet got it. as always check all testing instructions against the inspection and testing bible AKA GN3
