You would think so.

Approved voltage indicators are just that, no switches or buttons just a couple of probes and neons. That is what they want to see you using.

so are FLUKE T5-1000 not good for testing for dead as this device has setting for resistance, voltage and current

Tell me what AC voltmeter will read differently when connected either way across an AC supply? I cant think of any that wil do this

With this model current measurement entails swapping the leads round to diffrent sockets.. Your not trying to tell me that a qualified electrician would do that , set the meter to current and connect it to an ac supply???

Thats exactly what can happen changing things round and momentary not paying attention BIG BANG

well i for one love my drummond test lamps but have a pair of martindales as well with proving unit. supprizing the no of sparks who say "whats that" when they see it.

Ive searched High and low for some proof of this but for the life of me I cant find any..
