Insurance companies are not stupid, and never have been, The bigger companies have their own Engineering assessors dept, and others sub that work out. If a typical insurance officer/assessor gets paperwork across his desk that doesn't meet the norm he's used to seeing, it'll either get sent to Engineering or a subbie for adjudication/comments, or it will get sent straight back to the customer applying for cover for some pertinent answers to be forth coming!!

Any subsequent claims based on/around electrical issues and the big pen with the RED ink will come into play!! lol!! I have been dealing with insurance companies and their assessors for many years now on the projects i've been working on. ....Let me assure you, they don't employ dummies that you can easily bluff around... lol!!

Thanks guys for all the great help. I kind of knew the answer, but just wanted to get another opinion on the situation.

I won’t know the exact details until I turn up on the day, you never know, they might have a plan of isolation.......but I doubt it!

Given that Cornwall is virtually "isolated" with this weather you shouldn't have any problem
