iam using 32A RCCB's .

i would like to test it weather the test button operates it properly

pls suggest me how to do it
 
Pressing the test button would be a good start!!! lol!! If it trips the RCD then it's working..

To fully test the RCD unit you will need an electrician with the appropriate test equipment to test your RCD.

The test button test, is just a very basic test which only tests the sensing coil (to some degree) and the mechanism...

ok - I was thinking it was some kind of wind-up and misread the name as an 'anagram'. Thought I was reading it backwards but was reading it part backwards, part forwards, part backwards. Thought it said u-penis-mav when read backwards. My mistake. But it was a pretty inane question by the OP.
