Hi there, I've installed quite a few of these often have to ring tech support because the menu is that intense you forget everything you need to no lol.

Problem 1 = when I walk in the entry exit (door contact) the pir insight of the keypad picks me up but I have set this to guard access but alarm still goes before I have managed to disarm the system.

Problem 2 = when I walk in the entry exit and go straight into a guarded area yes the alarm goes off but sound only comes from the keypad instantly and then if you leave it going off for 30/60 seconds the outside bell then goes off. I have looked in menu and saw something about a bell delay but thats off.

Hope someone can help me.. Cheers

If the door contact is wired to keypad zone, keypads & zone expanders will need to be confirmed in eng Utils.
The is a second entry timer, for confirmed alarm & errors this needs to be set to 0, if not required, and in Config external bell confirmed (option 26 ) needs to be set.

Bells on confirmed alarm (26) internal bell on confirmed alarm (27) you will find in Config, and option 27 you will find already ticked. In Area timers, set Second entry timer to 0.......if you have com300 or com2400 installed, you can pm me and I will remote setup for you.

I've never had this problem before has the factory settings changed or something and it's weird because you'd think external bell is on because it does come on after a bit. About question 1 is that in the zone setup on zone 3 which that it the zone which is detecting movement on entry? Cheers for the replies lads.

Do you also turn off anti code reset and confirmed reset? I normally changed arming mode to timed exit? Is this all standard as I have doubts now because it seems they have changed factory settings to me anyway. I have installed quite a few of these & never had a problem.

Anti code reset & confirmed reset are up to you and your customer.
Your arming mode should be entry/exit and have the door contact terminate the timer and set the system. Timed exit will lead to fault setting alarms.
The zone number make no difference as long as all the settings are correct, so if you wanted you could have zone 24 as your front door if you wanted.
If you don't mind me asking why are you installing the elite 24 if you struggle with the programing of the system as there are far easier & cheaper systems?

One Thought the door contact on entry exit door....how is it wired to A terminals & T terminals, and it operation (EOL, TEOL, NC, OC or WD....?

Would suggest walk test the e/e zone first before moving on
