The Executioner Insect Zapper - What Statistic Is Responsible For Power Zapps?

I have bought The Executioner. There were two of them, small and bigger and former has 2 AA batteries and latter 2 C batteries.

Which is more powerful for killing insects? Please see my question here.

I say it is all about ampere but the other person states it depends on several factors. Who is right?

Perhaps the 2nd worse job in sparking .....................cleaning industrial fly zappers.

I've had many of these fly Zappers over the years, but none were battery powered, all mains powered units. Yes they do work, and the bigger the better, as the commercial units prove very well. Not suggesting you go for one of those to use in your home, but there are plenty of domestic models to choose from.

One misconceived idea, is that these things attract mosquitoes and gnats etc, they don't. You'll only zap them if they fall foul of the zapper by chance. They do attract most fly types and moths. we have about 4 of these units in our house in cyprus, 2 in the kitchen and one in the lounge and main bedroom. They work better if placed near to windows but not too close (ie, not on window ledges), and away from any drafts. Best to change the lamp(s) every year too, to keep them working at their peak....
