Discuss The snip in the Electricians Chat - Off Topic Chat area at ElectriciansForums.net

This subject always brings to mind the Hale and Pace sketch where they where doing a parody of a kids TV programme the days word was Vasectomy and they knew a "song" about that

Here we go severing nuts in May:D

:D it makes me question the sanity of my uncle who had the snip, got divorced had it reversed and had it done again  it`s no wonder he walks funny now :D

post op tight pants, take painkillers ontime all the time dont wait to be in pain, it will be mild discomfort for about three to four days then start getting back to normal dont worry to much and good luck.

Good luck, had mine done 10 weeks ago, was obviously worried but to be honest it did not hurt. slight discomfort for a couple of days but nothing 2 paracetmol couldnt get rid of, had worse hangovers.

Good news and bad news.

First the bad:
Had it done at the GP's surgery. What was bad was it didn't work - hence kid number four. Had to have it done again.

Another bad one:
a workmate had it done by the same GP - his balls got so bruised and swollen he ended up losing one. That was real bad.

Good news:
bad experiences are rare. The op is a bit uncomfortable but not terrible, worst part is the needle in the ballsack. Once that's over, no problem.

Thanks Mate .....

So after I got there and was having the consultation . " There is a risk of infection , swelling etc, etc "

Make sure this is what you want" "Is this what I want ,a needle in my scrotum "

So I get took up then start thinking ( the mrs has been badgering me for months and it is NOW when I am 2

mins away that I start thinking) Sod this so I go back down tell the Mrs she gets CROSS RA RA RA

So I go back lying on the trolley with my kecks off thinking back to johnies and whipping it out ...

They take me through ,then the surgeon starts shaving my scrote with a Bic razor . I am thinking worse

case scenario. I mean its not every day that a fellow man has your balls in his hand and is shaving them

with a Bic razor . ( note to Mrs ) and to cut a long story short no big deal just keep talking whilst they are

snipping over in 10 mins pain so far has been minimal . Made the most of lying in bed with Pain relief.....:)

Just read the whole thread

The Mrs tried to get me to have it done years ago,
If I had, I might have been the inaugural guinee pig,so no way

All these doctors are still only practicing you know :)

I'm gonna wait a little while until they get the hang of it :)
Probably mine will wither away or decompose on their own by then
"The snip"I dont have the balls to have that done

We are thinking of having our kitten done. In preparation, I went to see the vet, sat him down and grilled him with many of the same questions that are being asked in here. Not looking forward to the day I take the little chap to be done. Anyway, getting back on topic....

I take it your still laid up Scott or how did it go ?

My mrs is badgering for me to go get it as Im on the bru for a wee while I might go see How long do you need to wait till nooky can restart? Wouldnt want to miss my birthday Jollies
