Sorry Folks.
I visited IFSEC today, and during the Tube ride from Stanmoore to IFSEC. I was gazing out of the window looking at the scenery (that's my excuse), I couldn't help but notice what looked like coils of MICC at points along the track, all cable tied to what looked like specifically made cable tray, and terminated into some sort of control box track side, at first I thought maybe it was excess cable, but I noted this at regular intervals at most of the stations, it looked like it was purposely installed this way.
Can anyone have any insight as to why it was done like this, being a bit of a pedant, it played on my mind, I'm afraid I will have sleepless nights thinking about it, unless someone can explain, IFSEC was pants by the way, not many gissits or free bees roll on ELEX at Coventry.
