Just been called to this beauty as previous electrician wanted more money ( in cash) up front and walked to quote "cut his losses".

Mounting board has been removed. Meter has been moved by said electrician. And yes it has been wedged in pushing the gas feed across.

I wish I could say it's a Photoshop job. However this is reality.

I think with the advent of more and more LED lights and Tungsten and Halogen being phase out we will see more and more lighting circuits in 1.0mm, maybe in the end going even smaller, the advent of very low Amp RCBO's is just around the corner.
I agree Mike, I already use 3a mcbs if possible (it nearly always is) to get around my perennial argument with my assessor regarding protection for fans.

They really should be offering 3A C-curve MCB and RCBO now.

Assuming max 1.5A operating current and so 3A C-curve at 15-30A magnetic trip point it looks OK for LEDs, even simultaneously switched I suspect. And for a typical floor of 5 rooms that is about 70W of LEDs per room, plenty bright enough!

Currently the OSG Table 7.1(i) has a length limit for 6A C-curve on 1mm at 65m, so going to 3A C-curve would be 130m with is very unlikely to be a problem for one breaker's range of rooms.

Don't know about RCBOs pc, but Contactum do a 3A, C curve MCB.
