well the top of the henly has an exposed terminal block or should i say had , and the metalic cuboard had no earth connection so touching it to close the door was a tad risky View attachment 10972

Like i said, I could not decide, lol
Does the door actually shut with them tails in the way ?
OK ignore my bit about giving them slack on the date, as it must have taken ages to get in that state.
when i first see the cert i thought ok some errors but has spent a bit on program but see the photo's and it was like the twilight zone.
I thought WTF, all that software and does armchair testing !

It is amazing the quality of the reports out there that are accepted without question.
The number of basic errors is really shocking. Feeling a bit saddened that this can go on.

totally agree Richard and i get so frustrated at it its not rocket science ,but knowlage and experiance and of course care, i know we all make mistakes i know i do but not like these and the real thing that bugs me 2 companies over 4 years of inspecting all both of them put down results for the lighting circuits hwne there is no cpc the years were 2006 and 2009 The letting agent wont release the 2011 cert but they may have to because the land lady is taking it to trading standards but to send out a certificate with 1906 as the date is just unbeliveable im going to send these to ESC and see what they have to say spartikus they were not BS88 they were BS1361's just yet another error , in the one the RCD was down as 60898 on one cert and 4293 on another Noooo.... they were BSEN61009 how can the make a mistake like that silly mistakes

Just had a look through the first forms in more detail and decided to list the obvious irregularities I noticed straight off.
The fact that these are there really does not encourage you that any results have any validity.
Form one

Ze not tested
PFC not tested
Earthing TNS not TNCS
Form not signed
Date incorrect
Db location not completed
Supply protection not completed
Reference method is 1: singles in conduit in a thermally insulated wall? Non standard, if it is that installation then should be A
IR results =200, really?
Llighting is 1.5 not 1, and, as you say, no earth so no R1+R2 possible.
R1+R2 not applicable to a shower, why not, even if disconnected.
Zs and polarity not checked
Circuit breakers are BSEN60898 not just EN68098
EBADOS not correct terminology EEBADoS I might accept.

Second one
An improvement a bit
Still not signed
Cooker is wired in 10/6 cable not the standard 10/4 and not the 6/4! from before?
Lights improved to 1.5 but still with cpc and R1+R2
RCD really a BS4293 in one way in a board?
RCD results for cooker but not sockets

Third form pretty blank really.

Pah! rubbish.

it is your right one thing they did miss is the cooker circuit is wired in 16mm twe then changes to 6mm at the switch to the cooker connection plate , neither got the RCD right one has the BS4293 the other has EN60898 they are infact BSEN61009
