Hi, does anyone know who TLC direct use as their main courier? I'm about to order a few bits from them for the first time, but a bit concerend if im not around when they deliver it incase i have to drive miles away to pick up my goods thanks.

I have no local branch near me, so i assume they'll use DHL like you say then. I'm also assumming that you've use them in the past, are they okay to use? and have you had any issues with them?

thanks
Don't assume you'll get next day delivery, even if they are local. I've been let down a couple of times "because the van was full". Not had any experience of DHL delivery from them though.

Signed up with Electricfix a few months ago and have ordered via the mail order line (goods straight from the factory) a few times - if the orders over ÂŁ50, its free postage, as to date, its been a good service......... with everything I have ordered in stock. You need to register instore first (or I did anyway)

The instore counter service is another matter for another thread!......... not really sure what they stock behind the partition in our local Electricfix, as it ain't anything electrical :)

For prices theyre really good. Delivery I don't know, I'm fortunate that they are half a mile away from my house and my branch is good. :)

Hi
I have ordered from TLC direct as like you found they were cheaper on some items
they were delivered for free and it came within a few days ask them to deliver to a neighbour who is in and will sign for them if needed

I have also registered with electrafix firstly online then when i went to store had to do it all again so was a bit of a pain and 30 min to sort

anyway theyre good and have a free telephone I needed to have a BG 16A CB they jsut gave me a refund as was out of stock even though it was after 30 days
and didnt have to send the old one back
wish i had registered before i had purchased a load of items from screwfix and saved myself and the customer a few bob

TLC good supplier IMO. I've got a feeling they use ParcelFarce, as do ElectricFix/ScrewyFix.

Always had excellent service from both suppliers and no quibble returns from both.

TLC-Direct used to be 2-3 days for their deliveries but they have really speeded this up . The last couple of orders came next day.
