Hi, a question from a learner!...In the photos attached (I hope!) you'll see an incoming domestic elec supply. I'm assuming it is TN-C-S...but can anyone explain what the green earthing cable is coming from the bottom of the box to a BS951 tag on the Lead supply pipe..is this simply part of the equipotential bonding due to the lead covering on the supply cable, or is this acutally some kind of TN-S setup?...I've never seen this before.

Any ideas greatly appreciated! :) Cheers.

Said it before and i'll say it again.... You DON'T mix TN-S and TNC-S earthing systems at the head like this!!! Where is the PME warning sticker on the cut out then? ....This smacks of a non DNO installation to me!!

So, are you saying that if the DNO convert a supply from TN-S to TN-C-S they should leave the lead sheath without a bond to the MET?
