Doesn't seem to go against any requirements of section 701 on the face of it. BS number compliant ?
I would say there could be issues with external influences due to splashed water but not a C2.

Honestly not a type I've seen before. The switches would be my main concern regarding the IP rating of the whole unit.

Well BS3052 is long gone, but was ok at some point. I believe this unit was intended to be installed with an earth to the tx but many were not, which makes them double trouble.

I blanked it off in the end.
They had a travel plug theu could attach to the toothbrush so no fuss
