I

its my opinion

hi guys I'm testing a elderly peoples home I have all the correct readings on the ring mains however they are on a 32amp 60898 type b mcb should I grade as c2 or c3 or can it just be passed as satisfactory

hi spinks yes mate theres all sorts of equipment hospital type movement beds / Kitchens although all bonding in place in special locations etc. also 3phase board no rcd protection

Coding would depend on the use of sockets,if they might reasonably be expected to supply equipment outdoors for example, a C2 might be appropriate, otherwise a C3

Edit...I'm assuming the OP is concerned about RCD protection,as Murdoch states though, thats not made clear.

Hi Murdoch I was only coding it as I though that it does not comply to current regs as you rightly say everything has tested ok, there is no sockets used externally ie grounds maintenance etc back to the original post satisfactory or unsatisfactory ?

What you need to look at is what the socket is used for and its risks, elderly people home could have breathing machines dialysis machines etc ,you don't really want them on an RCD if you take into consideration the disconnection time 0.4 and Zs required to trip the protective device in that time , if the test result are within the required levels then no code if higher then there might be an underlying problem , you could code 3 it requires improvement , assess the level of risk really RCD's are for additional protection
