The saga continues. :) Went back to the school today, not to finish that job but to do another one. I was up some steps in the disabled toilet when madam popped round the corner. Took one look at me. Waved her arms around and screamed “Oh my god, it’s you!” and then run off. That sort of thing could make an electrician feel unwanted and very
insecure. :devilish: Anyways, I have found out now, she is the deputy head. I will always cherish the initial misconceptions I had about her…pml

Lets put it this way. If only I was 20 years younger, me and her could have made sweet music together.

I'd have waited until they finished then applauded loudly!!!

Not a good standard to be setting in a school though.

Just a bit of an update!
At the beginning of this year there was a story in the local newspaper about a man that hanged himself a couple of days before Christmas because his wife was having an affair and she was leaving him. Initially I didn’t make the connection because it only briefly mentioned that she was a teacher and the school was not named. Since then I have found out it was her. She has lost the family home and her job. Their kids have gone off the rails as a result of it all and started skipping school, taking drugs etc. The male teacher involved still teaches at the school but appears not to be involved with her any longer.
Personally I think, anyone that still thinks the whole affair was a good idea needs to put more bromide in their tea!

What can I say to respond to that? What an impact that has had on so many lives.

Isn't it usually the way though? An affair always starts as a bit of harmless fun but the fallout hurts everyone, usually the kids mostly as either Daddy leaves Mummy or vice versa. These poor kids have been damaged even more so because their father topped himself.
All because someone couldn't control themselves.
Tragic
