I'm sorry but your attitudes towards this stink chaps.
Have none of you seen it from the point of view of a parent......what if your child had seen this happening and come home that night and told you about, I guarantee every single one of you would be incensed and would be hammering the head teachers door down the very following morning.
We trust educational establishments with the safety and wellbeing of our children, who also happen to be the future of our great country. For them to witness this kind of thing and see it as acceptable......what kind of people will that make them as adults, I dread to think.

I see what you're saying but the OP isn't speaking in his capacity as a parent, he's speaking in his capacity as an electrician who has been caught up in a kind of 'what the butler saw' scenario.
As I've already said, at the time I think he should have professionally asked the teachers to leave the room, for the same reasons the door was locked to keep the kids out.
That opportunity has now passed and the OP has to either explain why him and an apprentice knocked off early and someone has to go back to the school.
In either case I don't think it's appropriate for a contractor to interfere with the running of the school or for that matter any establishment they're working in, even if you start throwing 'what ifs' into the equation. If you saw a kid being bullied in the playground would you intervene because 'what if it was your kid' or if you saw an office employee being treated unfairly would you kick off because 'what if it were your missus'?
However much you agree or disagree with what these two were doing it's not your business to wade in and act as some kind of self-appointed HR manager. If someone was having a heart attack then fair enough your human instincts would take over and you'd probably step up and try to help, but this is more like you telling them they're doing a bad job, more like if you overheard the teachers teaching badly.
Obviously you can't 'un-see' what you've seen which is probably going to cloud your opinion of that school from a parent's point of view and whether or not the scandal manages to leak out somehow is really down to you and the apprentice, but you have to consider the implications of that happening, and the likelihood of someone wanting to employ a 'less than discreet' electrician, particularly if you live in a small town.
