Why don't you tell us which company you're trying to solicit ideas for and what kind of split we can expect from the sales of our ideas?

As an ex auotmotive R&D engineer who spent 20 years coming up with ideas and "thinking outside the box", I just can't break the habit and have a box full of ideas. But if you think I'm just gonna give them away for free on a forum....well, jog on.

Hi all. All of us sometimes come across some problem or situation when we think "If I only had this or that my life would be so much easier".
So.. what it would be for you? What device you would love to see on the market, what it would do, how would it look and how it would help you with your job?
It can be something as simple as a hammer or complicated like space shuttle - but it should be possible to make. You can also suggest price tag.

We can make a poll at the end and find out whos idea was the best.

At this stage I will not say anything about it as I do not want anyone else thieving the idea!

if you are thinking of something, you need to sort your patents out before you speak to anyone, even your own familly, otherwise it may be deemed to be in the public arena and as such not patentable

From bitter personal experience, patent your idea first before breathing a word of it to a manufacturer, otherwise you risk seeing the good idea put in to production and their legal department disputing your 'ownership' of the design and your right to royalties.

You do what you have to do to secure your patent/idea - this will save us any future legal battles. What I can offer? We can build prototype for you, or few prototypes, try them out, and then...if it work out will invest in production line and try to put it on the market. Your idea, our manufacturing. Like above. That is what I am lookin for. I can not promise that it will work out, or that we gonna make few milions - we might waste our time and loose money and time. But if idea will be good - then sky is the limit. I was mostly thinking about something related to pv installation, but any other ideas are more then welcome.
