How do,

Can anyone identify these accessories? I need to get hold of the tool required for removing screw heads

It's just a security bit, comes with a sets bought cheaply enough off eBay

ps try long nose pliers or your snips 1st

As above long nose pliers will sort them out.

that will probably scratch the faceplate. a set of security bits is only a few quid, and you get the torx and allen key ones as well. i have a set to fit any 6mm hex. driver body. about £7 from wholesalers or ebay.

go to screwfix and pick up a small pack of security bits for about £5 .. about 20 odd of them; different types in a little rubber case holder.

Or do as i do when in a fix. Find an 4mm flat head screw driver you dont mind "modding" and just file away the middle until you end up with a pronged driver that fits these buggers.

if the screwdriver is not a diy finest, then the slot needs to be made with a fine disc angle grinder. have plenty of plasters or insulation tape and bog rool to hand for the sliced fingers.

ok .... how about 2 pins that fit the holes - panel pins maybe? - put one in each hole then grip them both with a pair of pliers & turn.

Filing the middle out of a screwdriver you cowboy how much do you charge the customer for that ? I use a grinder much faster pmsl

How about driving two pins through a bit of wood with the ends proud and then use it to unscrew them ?
