At the moment got everything slung in a Stanley 26inch toolbox, which is a joke.

I thought that i'd treat myself to a new toolbox or 2 to help keep everything sorted.

Whats the most prefered type. Is it the type of tote trays like the stanley fatmax ones, or the standard plastic jobbies with the locking catches on the front.

Toolboxes.......I'm a sucker for tools and toolboxes...:o

I've got 2 at the mo......one of those massive B&Q boxes on wheels for all the non everyday kit i.e pyro tools, data gear, stillsons etc etc, and a C.K technicians tool case for all me drivers, cutters, pliers etc etc.

Works well for me.:)

Not many people seem to like them now, but I still love my metal cantilever job (the big one, not the lunch box one). I cant get on with plastic toolboxes, I just seem to end up with everything chucked in a big pile, and cant find anything. Also got a Dewalt bag for hand kit, or battery drills and bits.
Also got a stanley tote thing for diy stuff at home, absolute waste of time, cant ever find anything.

Got it for £145 then they jumped up in price last year, got a 10 year guarantee with it, so far its been indestructible.

Hi Pennywise, I use the Veto Pro Pac XL zipped:

How do you manage carrying the XXL, you must have arms like Popeye. I managed to get the XL for £106 but they are now £130!

I also use a Stanley Faxmax Lock n' Stock for my drills, bits, holesaws etc a brilliant bit of kit:

I am possibly the saddest person on here as I get more excited about buying new tools. I even want to start a show and tell thread showing your bags/boxes and tools in them, but am worried it will be just me:o
