I think I originally bought it when I was wiring a lot of boilers and getting annoyed with programmers fitted above kitchen worktops where you can't get a normal screwdriver in to the locking screws underneath.

I've looked at similar ratchets before, but they always had a very deep head or odd shaped shaft. This is by far the best design I've ever seen, with exceptionally low profile head and shaft.

got one just like that. similar problem but in my case it was underfloor stats fitted only 2" above worktop.Something similar to this, it comes in handy so many times.
