Discuss tote bags in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net

i spent the first 10 years on the tools using a metal cantilever mechanics tool box , indestructable.
good times long since gone.
:)
Ha, I inherited my old man's cantilever box when I started as a labourer. Great things until they slip open when you are stood on them.
Don't really see the appeal of a tote bag. I much prefer a solid box. Have a fatmax structural foam ip rated jobby at the minute. Bloody love it.

Yeah I suppose everyone is different I think mine is more suited to eyeliner and lipgloss, hasn't stood up well to be filled to the brim with tools at all, tesco carrier bag for me next

thats odd. no such problems with mine.

mine has plenty of things in it. not one pocket has ripped etc and been using it on site for a while.

which one you talking about? mine is the 20" tote (i had a faxtmax technician that is now in garden as its falling to pieces)

Thats the one, to be fair though I'm a bit of a tool addict I buy everything going and fill my bag with them, probably why it's fell to bits!

I bought the Maguire Nicholas bag. Its black and yellow. Only had it a week but seems decent. Was toying between the fatmax tote and that. Its spot on. Mate of mine who I work with has a JCB tote woth a cover and it seems to be canny.
