Out of intrest does anyone use these Pin Plug 5mm Grey, I've used them and think there the dogs, work perfect for
difficult cable pinning in to brick, really good for 6mm and 10mm cable also, just thought I'd post as I've spoke to some of the guys and they have never heard of them.

they are the dogs. if i ain't got any and clips won't hold/go in, then i'm stuck with using trunking/conduit.

Really needed a box of these last week. Couple of o/s lights, one was a run half way around the house and the mortar was crap. Would have saved me a lot of frustration on the top of those ladders.

Yes they rock - have used them for years- you can get them from most wholesalers but will take a week or so to come in.

CEF from memory used to have these as a stock item , they were great for neatly clipping Earth cable down the back of a wall. Old school would have been 8mm hole and dowl pins

Hi Alex powers, Am I right in thinking you use them as a rawplug then hammer your nail clip into them? If so, what a great idea and I will be looking out for them. Thanks a lot.

Unfotunately not near me, no one seems to stock them.

I got that wrong, bodge and quick in Fratton have them, down the electrical aisle amongst the cable clips, this maybe the case in most of their stores, as I never buy cable clips from B&Q I had not checked there!

They are NOT near all the other wall plugs where you may expect them to be!

So to conclude this thread everyone else can get an endless supply of these and I'm still stuck with none!!! tried cef today and the guy said he'd binned a load of them last year because nobody asked for them! I'll order on line today.
