Van lease on transit custom is ending soon so I'm considering the new proace. Any one have the older one?

Pretty sure it isn't in the old one at least.

I have an 08 Dispatch and its identical to the Expert/Scudo/probably Proace too from what I've seen.

The only difference are some badges/small bits of trim here and there.

Engine is PSA/Ford effort. 1.6HDi. (I think Ford brand it as TDci or something).

Not sure about the new ones coming out soon as I've not looked into them. Been happy with mine over 7 years/70k though. Was a very reasonable price and its been reliable.

Do you have issues with ball joints? I have a 58 plate expert and every 18 months they need replacing as they're in bits!

If you are using after market Ball joints , or other suspension components, they are usually crap.
if your van is running heavy it will not like kerbs and potholes.
Did you get a good mileage from the first pair?

Dont know as the van had done 130k when i got it. The replacements have been febi and fai both sold from auto factors as oe quality replacement.

Yes , we have a motor factor here that sells 'quality parts' . Sadly , like our job, it is difficult to be sure what you are getting.
I replaced a pair anti roll bar links from a factor, they needed replacement again at the next MOT test.

PS. Sometimes the original parts are not a great lot more than the spurious crap that is been pedalled .
