Dont get too excited, it is only going to be a bargain bucket from KFC lol.

I'm sure I can do better than that  I'll ask Doody Toody to tag along as well, should be fun?
Sounds good, get him round!

I've heard he likes cooling fish so that's lunch sorted [emoji1]

Well we've had the first correct entry! And another couple of guys have started working it out, anyone stuck with this can feel free to send a PM to myself, Richard or any of the mentors for a little help with working it out. I learned a couple of things from Richards explanation to me so don't be afraid to get involved!

Oooo Pennychew was my answer right? Or do I need to try again lol

loki

That's two more correct entries and I learned a new formula from one of them (thanks Simon!) I'll let this run for another couple of weeks but get your entries in lads... So far I can think of at least Doody, happysteve, Northstar, bigash and a couple of others who I think could answer this one with ease! (Electrochem could do this in his sleep but he would need to give me board and lodgings for two weeks so i can deliver it in person! :smile5:)

Roll up, roll up, get your free clamp meter.

One easy question to answer and you are in with a chance.

Only basic electrical circuit knowledge required, sort out the basics and go for it.
Help available for new trainees just pm me.

Good luck.

Mate, you would not believe the size of my brain f@rts sometimes. :) Just ask my level 2 class, lol... :willy_nilly::6:

I've had a few weeks away from it all - some busy weeks with the uni job and an awesome holiday in Portugal. Time to start getting my head round electrical stuff, and getting back into the swing of things again... :)

The mv/a/m already factors in the 1.2 correction factor to 70c.

(R1+RN) x Ib X 1.2 will give you the same answer as the above.

Cheers mate, glad i didn't miss anything.

:)
