good answer. that gas meter and it'd pipework are extraneous and close by 4 steel DBs, also within reach of earthed basket. by being bonded back to the MET, there's then no chance of a PD in the event of a fault on the installation.I'd say yes, bond it. Those look like meter tails and the earthing conductor to the right. If there's a possibility of touching other conductive parts forming part of the electrical installation, then it (the gas meter) is an extraneous conductive part.
