well, that has jogged the old grey cells a bit. i had forgotten that pythagorarse was not just for calculating the height of a tree.

and i bet you did all that work on the post just to prove you could use the symbol thingy to put the squares and root symbols in

that was how i lost the post by flipping to JUD's sticky on symbols LOL - anyway hope it helped - it was 40 plus years ago when i first did it as well :p;)
 
Have you got any good websites/ papers that explian in as simple format as possible, on using the differnt triangles in order to get different information from equations ? ei. power triangle, impedance triangle, voltage triangle, etc..?
