TT System MET??

Could the MET for a TT system be an earth bar in a garage CU?

This would then feed the house CU (opposite side of attached garage wall) earth bar using 4mm conductor. All loads are 30ma RCD protected.

The Main Earth Terminal, is the point where the earth conductor from the earth electrode is connected to the rest of the earthing system. Any other eart bar would be an Earth Marshaling Terminal.

personally I always take the earth back (even if from a stake) to the origin of the supply first, not through a DB fed from the origin feeding back if this is what you mean.
Although it will obviously work, I would worry that anyone working in the garage DB in the future might disconnect the house earth by accident?

I would put a little earth bar near the garage DB, then take all 3 earths to that.
I'm not sure about the regs concerning or even if there is any, it this is just what I would do.

Regs arn't very specific, but I like your thinking, will install and label a MET next to the garage CU, this can then feed the house CU and all protective earths, would I be ok using the 6mm T&E cpc that feeds the garage CU from the house as the earth for garage services? fed from 32A MCB via 30ma RCD.

Yeah would be fine to use earth in the twin mate.
