I used to work for a builder who had a plasterer who, all day long would utter the phrase: "Ye knaa worra mean?" to which the painter would reply: "Aye!!"

This went on constantly all day & every day, but it was never established what it was that we were supposed to know about. :rolleyes2:



Was the painter going round after the plasterer?

Bet that was a quality bit of decorating:icon4:
 
Are they actually whistling...just asking as some of the standard of work i have seen it could be that the noise you hear is the wind blowing into one ear and out the other!

Well the painter was in the room that the plasterer had plastered the day before, who was plastering the room that I had first fixed the day before that !! It was all a bit like a well oiled machine that was running out of oil sometimes. :juggle:
