Turn light automatically on through vibration sensor

Hi,
Being a firefighter I have got a pager which vibrates. I’d like to turn on a light automatically through a vibration sensor when it detects vibration (the pager vibrates when alarmed). The light should turn off after some time and it should be also possible to use the light normally (switch on/off manually).
Could anybody help me with this? Thank you a lot in advance!!

Slides down chute - pushing contact on to lamp.
Nefarious uses ,may keep cheap 100% reliable commercial products from happening ?
..Any sound activated solutions will probably respond to lightening / fireworks..!

nice solution , but the problem about it: as my pager should load in its loading station it’s not as “mobile”as it may should be for this kind of construction...

I'm no different , phone less easy to misplace if left on end of cable !

Hmm off the wall idea, fix a head bopper to the loading station angled so that when the pager is in place it presses against a point further up the spring.
When the pager vibrates the head bopper should move about and this should be detectable by a standard microwave movement sensor (shrouded so it can only see the head bopper) that can then be connected in parallel to the light switch to turn on the light for the time set on the sensor. Probably a large and ungainly arrangement but more interesting than affixing an accelerometer to the pager and having relays and timers to switch the light.

Did have a sound activated chaser 3-or 4 channel
(now take 1 bulb out and tap till get to dead spot)
..Sleep quietly or your snoring will be pretty " Psychedelic "
( If you do any modify one to these cheap things-beware innards may be live-if thinking of extending internal mic of a cheapo-and LEDs for less heat )
