Got a email today to update details, thought this is strange, payed up in full for the year.
So proceeded online address etc, next page card details etc, forget this delete. I am fuming why dont they advise you of this folly.

I had two of the TV license emails today (I renewed in Aug). Also had an email telling me one of my domain names was about to expire and would I pay them $80 to renew (it's due in January but not through them and it doesn't cost anywhere near $80) plus a couple of emails saying my phone had been hacked and to deposit a shed load of bitcoins into an account or the hackers would send pictures taken on my phone of me watching ---- to everyone in my email list. I get emails like this almost daily to one or more of my email address'
If any of you get any emails asking for money, even if it looks like a genuine email or it's from someone you know, always, ALWAYS check it and DO NOT click on the links!

Yes blah blah tv ....... blah blah, means jack to me, but I had the sense to know it was B.......
You proceeded, what about Malware or any other Bots you introduced to your system that are now either dormant and waiting or collecting your data blah blah blah...... ;o)))

I’ve had an email threatening to show all my contacts a film of me taken with my webcam performing a solo “act” unless I pay.
Its like the scammers aren’t even trying anymore.

Probably the same ones I've had. They send the email alegedly from your own email address to 'prove' that they have hacked you. Most people won't realise it's VERY easy to alter the 'from' email address to whatever you want.
BTW, could you send me £500 in used notes. If you don't I'll email the photos I have of you to everyone on this forum :)

I get a lot of remittance advice scam emails.
A bit annoying because I do get genuine ones, where I have to download a PDF.
The scam ones have an httml prefix, which is easy to spot.

I also get final warnings that I am about to lose my email address because AOL is now called Oath.
All I have to do is log in via the link supplied and update my details.

I don’t get so many now, but there was a spate of emails telling me to update my PlayStation password.
Just follow the link supplied.

But Moley - One man and His dog isn’t ----, I’ve told you that before!

I never open anything I don't recognise, but take your point, could be worse, but it is a MacBook so will just keep deleting those unsolicited mails.
