TV On Chimney Breast

Ive chased a chimney breast and had no problems, they are made out of the same brick as everything else, and the house wont fall down. I spurred from upstairs ring and came down the chimney breast to single socket and aerial point

my tv on wall and chased 4" trunking around breast into cupboard in kitchen for cables - no probs

Have mine on wall but luckily its dot and dab so managed to fish scart thru walls. did get told by TV eng friend of mine though that I should not use gas fire as it will severley reduce life of TV!!!!...luckily we never use the gas fire anyway.
