Got a customer who is adamant he has 2 Tv coax's buried in the wall and he wants to find them. What would be the best method to do this?
 
maybe no harm counting the coaxs at the attic too? just because he asked for a tv point there doesnt mean the sparks put it in, it may have been forgotten ? chances are pretty slim the plasterer fully covered ther lot up
 
Just use a tone generator ffs. I've got a DiLog one and it would have found these cables by the time you'd gotten to post #3.
