I'm on a hiding to nothing, three daughters and a wife. Sick to death of coronation street, holycrap and the others. Then there are the reality shows....
seriously considering flipping the RCD....

I work 6-2pm so im home watching my recorded programmes, and its her domain when shes back from work, and the laptops all mine.
Tho I do like to watch corrie :)

My must on an evening is home and away, i know its sad! usually gets recorded and watched when im having my tea!

all decent programmes are recorded, usually something on discovery, nat geo or history and watched at the weekend retreat!

Love it when the weathers carp, full weekend of catching up on tv.

also at home we have multiroom so i watch what i want until bed time, then its either some crap sport or i get the low down on how to service/repair whatever crap boiler hes going to work on tomorrow!!

Sorry Kath this is a tip for the boys.

Go online for ÂŁ25 or go to Toolstation for ÂŁ20 and but a remote controll socket. Yes its a socket that YOU can controll remotely!!!

Step by step instuctions:-

1 buy the said peice of equipment.
2 unplug the tv
3 plug in the remote socket
4 plug in the tv plug into the said above remote socket
5 Sit back with the remote control in hand without her seeing it and switch off the bloody program that she is watching at the most inconveniate time. Watch her screem and shout whilst you try nt to laugh.

Look for twenty quid its worth it. Also works on mother in-laws

No Paul, much as I'd like to do that I know that if she missed any of the misery in Albert Square she would give me a vasectomy with no anaesthetic. However when England were busy winning the rugby world cup she thought it would be an appropriate time to get the vacuum cleaner out just as Johnny Wilkinson was lining up a kick. She had a near death experience that day.

As a woman, I DESPISE reality shows, hate celebrity and don't bother with most soaps, though Corrie can be good depending who's written it.
I spent Sunday mornign after an all night party crying at Doctor Who with a dozen mates. We're not all the same, just sayin.

As a woman.................

Your a woman!

You do know that your out numbered 10,000 to 1 on this forum!

I do bang on about it.
It's not something I take note of day to day, but in this job, oh god yeah you're reminded about it regularly, like it or not. Not least coz I cry when people are mean to me. I gotta toughen up.

at one point i probably would have paul, i have mellowed a bit, think its due to old age setting in, haha

i have a better idea, i will hit you where it hurts, your wallet, breakfasts on you! haha

I tend to watch alot of tripe on TV...not so bothered about the everyday soaps at all...do tend to watch stuff like Borgias,Game of Thrones and anything of that type, bit of a sucker for horror films and 80's/90's 'action' films...anything with some good old medieval swordplay going on and like me Brit flick's.

Older Pinewood studies movies also get airtime in this house when they're on TV...Carry on's, on the buses, etc.
