You would need to explain the system installed by the supply authority or post a photo of the incomer assuming you're not talking about a generator.

It doesn't matter. I've never been taught what is better or what isn't, although id prefer to work on a TN. System as to a TT, aslong as you achieve your required values and is in a safe condition then shouldn't matter

what should be the earthing wire size ??for a 230v system
is there any calculation by which we can determine the correct size the incoming current is from transformer 27A

yes, you can use the adiabatic equation or selection from table 54.7 in the BS7671.

If you look in the index of your copy, you will find references to both. Once you have done that, come back here and ill explain how you can use both methods.

a bachelors from annamalai uni' no less.

To be honest, i'm more than just a little sceptical, maybe because i've seen far too many Indian hooky degree's that's been produced to me over the years. Even seen them with an Indian Embassy authentication, wax seal, and all the works too. ..lol!!

I did give him the benefit of doubt at first, after reading Malcolm's post on his behalf on another of this guy's threads. But the content and questions now being asked, that initial doubt, i think was/is founded...

Let it be said, that i've also known some very switched on Indian Electrical Engineers too, there are some very smart guy's from India , but this guy doesn't strike me as being very smart or switched on at all!!!

Rajan on another of your very random threads I referred you to the adiabatic equation and mentioned that if you were not familiar with it you should google it. That said, I'd have hoped with a B eng they'd have at least mentioned it somewhere along the line before they awarded you the degree.
This is a UK based forum and apart from a few exceptions the members will give you information based on our wiring regulations. Your's, if they exist at all, will possibly be very different so you should get a copy and see if there's an answer in there for you

i agree with you about the intelligence of some indians, i have met a couple that were ferociously smart. but, as you say, india seems to be somewhat of a hotbed of duplicity when it comes to qualifications. i googled annamalai university when the lad first posted his c.v. on this site; it appears to be a fair old establishment, to be honest (unless the website's fake). but, based on his questions, it wasn't going to be long before we realised he was flannelling us.
