evening-hope we are all enjoying the white stuff!!

I looked at a promising job last night- its a old retail style place which is being devoloped into 1x mews house and 3x 1bed apartments.

In the tender pack- it states they will be getting a new 3phase supply put into a communal cycyle store then from here- it would be for me to distribute to the mews house and apartments+ 1x small LL board for 5x communal lights and a elec gate.

But they want the supply meters inside the apartments/mews house as apposed to in the communal cycle store.

can i take the new 3phase supply into a Ryefeild- then into switched isolators- swa sub main into the properties- then have the meter in there then into the consumer units

but then the SWA sub-main will be un-metered..

I think the DNO or at least the meter operator may well be the ones to ask what they are happy with.
Are you the BNO for the property in which case I would install an overall meter at origin and then install the individual meters in each property.
If you were to install solid metal containment or other enclosure around the sub main then this would limit the chance for there to be an extraction prior to the metering.
There is generally a section of unmetered cable in any installation, the distance you have you have not specified but may be exceptional.
