Under cabinet kitchen lighting

Hi I've a customer that is wanting under cabinet lights installing in there new kitchen.

Normally I install Fluorescent fittings under the wall units but I'm wandering if anyone fits led tape I'm thinking of installing cool white along the entire length

Has anyone fitted led tape before ? I'm worried that the self adhesive tape will peel off over time

has as anyone got any recommendations of product LED tape or otherwise

Just quick search, but something along these lines. There are probably better ones out there.

LED tape just seems too expensive and fiddly to fit when there are items such as in the post above at much cheaper prices and easier to fit.
I would try and go for rigid LED strip lights, because of the lamp life and because the price of rigid LED strip lights is comparable to the T5 fluorescent lights it is fairly easy to justify and also easy to fit.
