Hi I've a customer that is wanting under cabinet lights installing in there new kitchen.

Normally I install Fluorescent fittings under the wall units but I'm wandering if anyone fits led tape I'm thinking of installing cool white along the entire length

Has anyone fitted led tape before ? I'm worried that the self adhesive tape will peel off over time

has as anyone got any recommendations of product LED tape or otherwise

Cheers

I have used the self adhesive tape LEDs with success. It is easy to add another strip if the first row is not bright enough. Had some installed for over a year and the tape is still stuck well despite a nearby kettle. I do add some small plastic fittings to make sure they cannot fall off. It can be fiddly to install as I solder it rather than using the clip on connectors which I have difficulty getting to work reliably. Cool white can be very clinical, warm white can appear dirty white, it depends on the colour of the tiles and the customer. I have installed a strip of cool alongside a warm strip for a middle colour.
