Under Cabinet led strip positioning

Just wondering where everyone fits their Uber cabinet LED strip? I would normally fit it right to the back of the underside to hide the cables, but I’ve recently seen a few people fit it tight to the front of the unit

Depends if there is a pelmet at bottom ,I normally come down the side of that and start the led stripp somewhere close to middle of cabinet.if they are high powered leds dosnt make a difference but if there bog standard I try keep it in the middle

If there's a pelmet i keep it to the front, if not, the back.

But not so far to the front to cause shadowing from the pelmet.

Behind pelmet if there is one or at the wall if there’s not. But where do you fit your above unit light strips ? Lol
