Hello. I was called to a house yesterday where the electric underfloor heating doesn't function. The supply is good but the customer did say that the temperature probe was replaced a few years ago, and a new thermostat panel fitted , see attached photos. What are the 2 clear sheathed wires for that are placed in with the line and neutral outgoing wires please?

Do they go to the neon indicator lamp?
Have you checked that you get power out of the unit when you turn temperature setpoint up?
