The system is controlled from a rehau hydronic master controller. Separate rooms stats in each room.

It's in a school. Yes worked but then they found all rooms were colder than usual. Pump doesn't kick in unless I turn pipe stat up

Does the heat source (boiler? ASHP?) operate when the pipe stat is turned up? What is the pipe stat supposed to do?

Depending what pump it is, some won't spin unless it has a certain temperature coming into it.

Sorry for the dumb question (not UFH experienced) but wouldn't the UFH pump run when there is UFH demand. And isn't that what is seen? (What have I missed ...)

Is it to ensure the flow doesn't get too hot (IIRC 65 degree's or hotter)

If the pipe stat is to stop the flow getting too hot and you have to turn it up to get the UFH to work could the pipe stat be wired incorrectly? is this a new or old installation ?.

guides on our legionnaires certs say for boilers to be kept at 60 degrees
