Only just finished my bathroom. I had to take off the old 1930's plaster, dot and dab new plaster boards on, new lowered ceiling, rewired, new plumbing, spar bath, new shower, new wall lighten cabinet, big heavy glass shower screen (that was fun fitting it) and whilst I was at it I change over my 3036 cu to a ten way split and put each circuit in the bathroom on on its own mcb. Next thing to do is put a new door on but I'm changing all the doors throughout the house and there a bit pricey so it will have to wait. Yesterday I fitted an outside tap for the hose pipe (do I have to inform lba? ;)) and today I'm doing nothing apart from having a few beers in the garden, I might water the plants with my new tap.

I also put in a new radiator, tinted mirror and of course tiled it all. As you might tell I'm quite pleased with myself, looks good doesn't it.

can you come and finish my bathroom off??? Only joking finished ensuite and living room last year so I could go snowboarding. Booked up for snowboarding next year and she wants kitchen doing which I am part way through by Blackmail. My snowboarding holidays tend to cost me ÂŁ1000s after I have being blackmailed to do the home improvements she insists on before I can go.....

is that molton brown soap you have there..

I took the outside plasterboard off, went into the room to read the paper and got the shock of my life, one of many wires that had been cut and shoved in the cavity had fallen onto the bath. Thank god my pregnant girlfriend was not there!
She now has a nice new bathroom and a rewire!

I ripped out bathroom and walls, cupboard with hot & cold tanks, floor, kitchen & floor, hallway and boiler. The idea would be for me to finish rebuild before daughter was born:) Well, after getting over ÂŁ450 for the copper and wire, (this is only a 2 bed flat! 6 rubble sacks of wire and I left most of the lighting in the void) putting wet underfloor heating in the kitchen and sitting room, rewire & build kitchen, build new shelves and unit for 42 Plasma, new walls elec underfloor heating, storage, shelves, dropped ceiling and bathroom fittings, make new floor in hall to look like the original flooring in the bedrooms (sanded & varnished) new CU, new rings to new sockets in all rooms, cupboards in hall, new lights everywhere, wiring up the new boiler, wiring up the underfloor heating, (what a nightmare) and repainting everything, I only needed to do the garden and snag the inside. Daughter now 2 decking almost done, drain pipe almost done, garden almost finished, shed almost built(in my head anyway), couple of doors almost hung, boiler & underfloor heating almost boxed in:cheesy:
