I'd still like to know why you wanted this work done before the old kitchen was removed as its made life very difficult!

The job was a total rewire with the clear knowledge a new kitchen was going in after christmas. We had agreed for temporary surface trunking to make life easier for us all as we got new wire that were the right length etc to be fitted correctly after christmas.
He had agreed to do this and what you have had described and seen in the pictures were his efforts at permanent fixing.

Why do you need to quote regs at him just tell him your not happy and work from there. If a homeowner started quoting regs at me it would just get my back up. As above though it seems the problems have been caused with the incorrect sequence of works. But I will say his work looks like he's chucked it from 6ft and its just landed there.

Looking at that second photo, i'd be wondering what the rest of this rewire is like!! I wonder what this rewire has cost the OP??

straight away, those cables are complete mess. even a builder could do better than that. i'd be withholding any payments till it was done properly.

even stevie wonder could have done better.
