Quick question possibly a stupid one - a click of the thanks button guaranteed for the first right answer.

Is it good practice/required to record describe them on the schedule of test results, or not ?

i do. in circuit description i enter spare or unused. i leave the details blank.

Thanks Telectrix, I Checked GN3 that's what it's like in the completed model forms.
I'm doing a testing assessment this Friday the bloke who marking has some unusual things he likes to see
so I'm double checking everything.
He wants the Ze for the install entered in the measured ZS column in the test results sheet. (Main switch row)
And the RCD ramp test written on the top margin. He also take marks off you for stuff you answered wrong while expecting you to tick things that ain't right or can't be seen. Can't wait to pass and finish. Doing my head in LOL

What do you mean by 'main switch row'?

If this is an assessment for a C&G qualification or part of the training for such? If it is then it sounds like he is not assessing it correctly and you should report this to his superiors or the C&G if necessary.

As per Tel, I always write "Spare". Taught this at college, if someone after you installs another circuit and records the details on your EIC, it is under your signature!
