alarm man

ive a job to do (family) so there's nowt in it ÂŁ wise for me,this is the current set up,had a look today

1x 6 way power db in main farm house
1x 6way lighting db in main farm house
one of the 32a mcb's from the main house power db feeds a 10mm swa to another db in a stable block 1 (the swa carries the earth for the stable db's),another 32a mcb in the stable block 1 db feeds another db in to stable block 2,both stable blocks db's are 63a 30 ma rcd protected, main house only has a 100ma rcd protecting both db's no 30ma,its a tt system and the rod needs moving also, cant find the current rod but earth cable coming in is 10mm,
all the db's are metal and stable ones are a very rusted due to dampness etc
thinking of replacing the house db with a mk 13 way triple rcd one,and 2x 7way split rcd mk ones for the stable blocks(plastic type),its the dicrimination between rcd's im thinking about(they want rcd everything as paranoid about safety now) and there not bothered if one fault in say stable block 2 takes out stable block 1 etc, hence using the 3rd rcd supplied mcb on the main house to feed the stable blocks and the spit rcd ones in the stable blocks so if a fault happens in the stable blocks the rest of the house is not affected,is there any other problems you get safety wise doing it this way or is it just nuisence tripping in the event of a fault
thinking either a 16 or 20 mm earth rod and 10/16mm earth cable to main db,rod will be in inspection pit.
current installation about 20 yr old

been out the game about 13yrs but im time served jib, just forgot loads as been playing with little baby cables for too long;)

thanks alarm man
