The exact panels used in my examples were:
195W: ET M572195 and UPM195M
230W: ET P660230 and UP M230P. The ET P660230 has 60 cells, I believe the UpSolar is 60 as well.

I am not familiar with the 230WWZ model used - but I think it may be the type that has an integrated mounting system?

I'm not in the least interested in mud slinging, I am simply defending a comment against a brand that we as a company stock that I did not feel was deserved. I'm sure UpSolar are perfectly good modules. Thanks
 
Differences may not be panel related. Wiring differently or using an inverter with a different mppt voltage range can yield differently.

Its all about component compatibility.

Thats why you use software simulation.

This is also part of the design element to ensure the system will perform correctly, you don't have to use PVsol but some form of software, excel sheet or something that can verify your calcs / estimations.
