*URGENT* Confused about fitting a ceiling rose

Hi,

I have very limited knowledge of electrics and I am in need of some help. I've just gone to change the ceiling rose on my landing, took all of the wires out of their appropriate places, and can't remember where to put them on the new one.

It's one of them that when you flick one of 2 switches, 2 lights come on.

Please explain in simple terms

P.S I know some countries have different wiring methods, i'm from England. Getting an electrician out isn't really an option for us either.

I may have been stretching the truth a little mate ........................sleeving cost money so if it was lucky it got a dab of red tape and that was if I were flush.

When I last tried to buy it mate I think it may have been reb/black leaded lol ..............with those clips that had a nail through the middle of them and you slid the end through like a belt...................

not many cables could be seen, but the ones that could be seen were clipped with buckle clips.

And is still, ...to my mind anyway, the neatest way of surface clipping flat cables, ...bar None!! ..lol!!!
