Used step ladder for sale

Found an old but fully working ladder... any takers?
Can put your tools and materials on aswell. Good for working at height and tray work.
@Pete999 this looks like the sort of thing you would have had during your apprenticeship!

Saw a guy at the Edinburgh Fringe balancing on an aluminium ladder...he pulled off the plastic end-cap from one of the uprights and pulled out some nylons, saying, "oops, I've got a stocking in my ladder!"

I worked in my former primary school a few years back.... They had a huge pair of metal fold out stepladders for changing lamps in the hall- must have been 10 feet high or more. Heavy and near impossible to carry on your own.
I used them once, but couldn't keep my balance.

Anyway, the old janitor had them out one day for something when we were there... There was a little nudge - luckily no one was on them at the time - and they came crashing down and literally flattened my tradesmans cantilever toolbox...

I think every school round my way had them at one time or another they weren’t made by Ramsey ladders where they?
I remember working for the council round here and getting an emergency call to one of the primary schools one of the ceiling lights was threatening to fall down and a speaker tile had already fallen on a poor wee boy and ripped through his calf after someone had booted a ball off the suspended ceiling - yeah in a gym hall I remember balancing on top of them trying to get the light back in the grid and I can honestly say I’ve never s**t myself so much in my life. Spent the next 3 weeks sticking catenary wires on all the light fittings in the school after that.

Yes, MFS.- Ramsey ladders. Made in Forfar and more metal in them than the Forth Bridge.

Had to be careful closing them up. The folding parts could take a finger off

My xmas list consists of large amounts of aftershave. My shelf will look like the house of frasers beauty counter after xmas! Got to smell good.

What you got upto at your sunday school and with the nuns in your catholic school is between you and them! Remember where theres blame theres a claim!

I have an old Ramsey double extension ladder from a school it was going to be skipped so I took it rather than let it go it’s very very bouncy though it weighs a bloody ton feels more like steel than Alu with the weight but it’s definitely alu.
After using it for years I’ve treated myself to a nice shiny new triple extension no more bounce I do still have a little set of Ramsey steps bloody solid as well 5 treads and a platform sturdiest set of steps I’ve ever owned by far
