Hi, my other half is an electrician, he loves tools and gadgets - can any of you electricians recommend some usefull things I could get him for xmas

Hi,thanks for answering! his main job is commercial but he does alot of domestic on the side. My budget is about £100 but would go higher if it was a really good gift!! some small items would be good to ie £20 ish

a set of drivers vde rated ones, there are some good makes out there, ck, wera, irazolas, bahco.
also have a look at his tool bags and have a look at the condition of it. ie a bit tatty or looking new ck do a nice range of bags . maybe a drill driver, best thing would to be to have a nosy through his kit if you can and see what looks like it could do with replacing
a fluke t5 would be on my wanted list if i didn`t have one.

How about a.new pair of snicker pants with changeable knee protectors. (that's what I've asked Santa for)

the best thing with the snickers is that they hold in when your kneeling around. i have had othres that when i was working would slip around and was forever moving them.
another poss is maybe a site radio. have a look and see what cordless tools he has and price the radio. dewalt makita and bosch do them

I wouldn't be without my Weidmuller cutters. I use them everyday for stripping and cutting. They go through 25mm tails like a knife through butter!

The snickers trousers are a good gift idea!
