Guys looking at getting a small van transit connect size what are people views and reliability practicality etc of various vans and what do you use and recommend
Thanks

a quick internet search ... looks good, but have they succumbed to the front wheel drive, crammed it with electronics craze? then again, being toyota, it's probably the best thing on 4 wheels.

You'd look good in this one Tel!

ldv pilot?, good little engine, costs much less than a transit, they come ex post office with low miles and looked after.
cost less because it's a throwback to the 90's. it's as tech advanced as a roman chariot.

One thing to consider these days is how you drive, all local work and a lot of stop start short journeys and a diesel will prove a very expensive mistake. This is due to a heinous device fitted to all modern diesels called the particulate filter (DPF)....they need regular decent runs in order to regenerate the filter as it clogs. DPF problems caused by short journey usage are eye wateringly expensive to fix, get a petrol if you stay local.

i thought as much. So they tried to avoid a bigger bill to the government, who doesn't? Nah but on a serious note regardless of what they put down on paper they are still tanks!
do you keep fish in them then?

happens with most things you drive mate, even petrols can get clogged, all is it takes is to put your foot down from time to time :)
