My Peugeot Expert (54) Takes over ÂŁ100 to fill from empty. It makes me weep. I'm thinking of replacing it for something smaller. I've always had smaller vans before. My favorite was my old Kangoo, ex British Gas with racking......should have kept it.

Is the expert the same as dispatch?
I'm same my vito is great but half time it just ends up being a skip on wheels so if go smaller hopefully this won't happen

vw transporter 28 102 numbers on back door ÂŁ105 680 numbers in garage I have it fairly well loaded n that was on 2 long runs up n down to Wick but I THINK Im getting more than I did in a transit 115

When buying the Astra 4 years back I opted for the 1.7. When test driving the 1.7 felt stronger as in when you put the loud pedal to the floor it didn't sound like the engine was going to jump out of the engine bay LOL.

You'll probably get better MPG from the 1.3, because its newer and must be why vauxhall went for it.

Could drive from Manchester to Glasgow and back to Bolton services on the M61 on 1 tank, about 11 gallon i think and thats with a set of ladders on the roof and the back full of tools etc.

I'd still opt for the 1.7

ey up mate, i love my connect, it takes a lot more gear than you would expect, however i worked out the other day it costs me about 22p per mile in fuel alone, and if i go above 65mph even on the motorway it gets worse. good van though.

Been drivin a 54 plate Vauxhall Combo this week.... It pulls ok... Well it would compared to my Gloria (Escort Van).

Don't know the spec it belongs to the Alarm side of the company and it's been over wrapped in some horrible design....

Long story... This week I'm working at a computer shop, one of the things our company does besides M&E & Alarms is IT and Telecoms.
The computer owner shop didn't want our vans outside the shop, so we've swapped with the alarm guys.

This week I get to drive a pretty awful bright red combo van and pretend I'm a rich alarm engineer.... Even got a Polo shirt!!!

I've now narrowed it down to 3
Combo 1.7
Berlingo 1.6
Caddy tdi

Thanks for all you help and if anyone else has any points they would be gladly received
